Bio
Yuhe Liao currently is a full professor at Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his PhD in 2018 in the field of heterogeneous catalysis for biomass conversion in Leuven. His research focuses on industrial catalysis and valorisation of renewable carbon resources into fuels, chemicals, and materials. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers, filed several patents, and edited one book “Lignin Chemistry: Characterization, Isolation, and Valorization“.
